2011 T. B. Maston Ethics Retreat at the Maston Lectures

In April, nine Young Maston Scholars attended the annual T. B. Maston Ethics Retreat held in conjunction with the Maston Lectures at Hardin-Simmons University’s Logsdon Seminary. The Retreat was planned and organized by David Morgan, member of the T. B. Maston Foundation Board of Trustees; and Bill Tillman, also a member of the Maston Foundation Board and T. B. Maston chair of Christian Ethics at Logsdon Seminary.

The theme of the Maston Ethics Retreat was “What Would Jesus Cut?” It was led by Bruce Prescott, executive director of Mainstream Oklahoma Baptists and member of the Maston Foundation Board; Teresa Ellis, theological librarian and assistant professor, Hardin-Simmons University and member of the Maston Foundation Board; and Stephen Reeves, legislative counsel, Texas Baptist Christian Life Commission.
